Racheal Adelaja, the popular Nollywood actress, has taken to social media to call out her colleagues over their fake love after surviving a recent life-threatening experience.
The actress who did not disclose the nature of the life-threatening incident expressed gratitude to God for sparing her life and giving her another chance at life.
She also appreciated all those who checked up on her, as she slammed colleagues who heard about what happened yet didn’t call or text, but were discussing her at different locations.
Calling out the pretentiousness of the movie industry, she noted that had she died, those who did not check up would have written the longest tributes online, but God didn’t make her a headline through death.
In her words: “Oba Alapadupe. The God who owns my life, the One who didn’t let me die before my time, I say Thank You, Lord.
“A few months ago, I embarked on a journey I wasn’t sure I’d return from… but Mercy said no. God came through for me and gave me another chance at life. I’m deeply grateful.
“To everyone who showed concern, stood by me, prayed for me, or reached out, may you never know sorrow.
“To those who noticed my sudden absence on all social media and checked in, I truly appreciate you. E o ni fi iru e gba lagbara Olorun.
“As for some of my Nollywood colleagues…You heard about what happened, yet not a single call or text — but you had the time to discuss me at different locations. It’s painful, but still, I thank God.
“If I had died, some of you would have written the longest tributes online. But God didn’t make me a headline through death.He gave me life, and for that, I return all the glory to Him”.
