Veteran Nigerian actor, Baba Gebu whose real name is Prince Oyewole Olowomojuore, has reportedly passed away.
eelive.ng learnt that renowned Nollywood actor and movie producer Kunle Afod announced the sad news via his verified Instagram on Tuesday, 12th November.
According to the 54 -year-old actor, the veteran died after a brief illness. In his words: “It saddens my heart as I announce the passing away of our great legend, a great actor who passed away this evening after a brief illness… BABA GEBU may your soul rest in peace.”
Baba Gebu, before death had a long career in the Nigerian film industry, particularly in Yoruba-language cinema, and had contributed to major productions.
