Portable reveals APC paid him to endorse Tinubu

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has revealed that APC paid him to endorse the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

He revealed this in a video that was posted online on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

I’m the video, Portable revealed that he was paid to insult Tinubu during the EndSARS protest, but has now changed his views because he was paid by the APC. He said in Yoruba,,

“If they pay you money, you have to work. I was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. That was a long time ago. Now, APC has said Akoi Tinubu. If they pay you, do your job, no ripping. When I was asked to insult Tinubu, I collected my money and did my job. Now Tinubu is the next. They’re the ones that gave me money, and I must do the work for the money I collected. Akoi APC.”

This is coming after he was heavily criticized for declaring support for APC in the Osun State governorship election set to hold on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

He also posted a video on his Instagram page, asking Nigerians to vote for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
