The ongoing public feud between controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, and Queen Damilola Afolabi, the former wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, has once again dominated social media trends.
What began as whispers of reconciliation has exploded into a messy exchange of accusations, leaked private conversations, and threats of legal action, drawing the attention of fans to the new drama.

On February 9, 2026, Portable went live on social media, accusing Queen Dami of publicly denying their relationship while allegedly maintaining secret contact with him. He claimed they had reconciled privately, sharing her bed multiple times and paying her bills, but she was ashamed to admit it openly.

Queen Dami responded swiftly via her Instagram page, issuing a strong statement denying any ongoing romantic involvement.
She declared Portable her “ex” and dismissed claims of visiting him for intimacy as “completely false,” noting that she had moved on long ago.
Accusing him of spreading “disrespectful, harmful, and unacceptable” sexualised stories, she revealed that she had filed a formal petition with the police against him for cyberbullying, blackmail, threats to her safety, and misinformation. Her legal team demanded he retract his statements within 24 hours or face further action.
Portable escalated the situation on February 10 by leaking screenshots of alleged WhatsApp chats from January 1, 2026, and video recordings of their conversations.
In the evidence, Queen Dami appeared affectionate, discussing visits and financial support, which Portable used to counter her denials.
He captioned one post claiming he planned to release nude videos if she continued to “deny his existence and their private affairs.”
Recall that the pair relationship came into limelight in August 2023, a year after the passing on of Queen Dami’s husband, the revered Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, in April 2022.
The relationship immediately drew controversy due to cultural taboos surrounding the Alaafin’s legacy as many Nigerians criticized it as disrespectful to royal traditions, accusing Portable of “tainting” the Oyo throne’s dignity.
