‘Power’ To Continue After Season 6
Viewers of Power, an American crime-drama TV series, are now in for a treat, as the release date of the first spinoff from the series, Power Book II: Ghost, has now been made official.
The spinoff, according to a press release, will premiere next month (Sunday, September 6, 2020).
What is new…
Although, Power came to an end earlier this year on Star, and Netflix; there have now been four announced spin-offs from the show.
Speaking of the spin-offs, Courtney Kemp, the showrunner, said Power is now being modelled after The Marvel Cinematic Universe, an American media franchise.
Her words; “We are patterning it after Marvel, where different characters come in and out of other people’s shows.
“So there’s crossovers and some of your favourite characters will come back, even if they don’t get their own spin-off, they will show up in places.”
The spin-offs are however titled –Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Influence, and Power Book V: Force.
