Rapper Da Baby Teases New Music After Release From Jail
Da Baby isn’t letting the fact that he just got out of jail stop him from releasing music. In a post he shared on Instagram, the rapper following his release from jail flexed with some stacks of cash, and previewed some new Wheezy-produced music. In the clip, the rapper references his Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Suge.”
Lastweek, Da baby was arrested in Miami on battery and robbery charges in connection to an incident that allegedly saw the rapper assault a promoter over performance fees, stealing his phone, credit card, and cash according to TMZ.
DaBaby was released from Miami-Dade county jail Saturday evening after posting $1,500 bond but is due back in court on Tuesday for battery charge.
It’s hard to figure out how much cash DaBaby had on him at the time this video was taken. It seems like the Charlotte rapper was able to retrieve the $250,000 that was reportedly stashed in the Miami hotel that he needed his lawyer to go to since he was ordered to stay away from the property.
