Rapper Lil Tjay Arrested For Gun and Weed Possession

American rapper, Lil Tjay, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon for gun and weed possession.

TMZ reports that officials of New York Police Department had taken Tjay and four others into custody after they were stopped for switching lanes without signaling.

The police smelled weed in the car, which resulted in a search and the discovery of 4 loaded handguns; and a large amount of marijuana.

Everyone in the car has been booked for possession charges; because no one took ownership of the firearms or the weed. However, the he larceny charges are unclear at the moment.

Lil Tjay began his musical career began in 2017. In 2019, he released his debut studio album True 2 Myself which peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard 200.

He is best known for his singles F.N and Brothers, as well as his collaboration with Polo G, Pop Out.
