American rapper Offset, estranged husband of Cardi B and former member of Migos, has been hospitalised after he was shot on Monday evening outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
According to his spokesperson, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is in stable condition and receiving medical care.
“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored,” the representative stated.

The Seminole Police Department responded to the incident at the valet area outside the casino.
Authorities reported that a person sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police detained two individuals in connection with the shooting, and there is currently no threat to the public.
The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting, including any possible altercation, remain under investigation.
Offset, 34, shares three children with Cardi B, from whom he has been estranged following their divorce. The couple’s high-profile relationship has often made headlines over the years.
As of Tuesday morning, no further details on the motive or suspects have been released by authorities as investigation continues.
