Reekado Banks Reveals Why He Fired His Elder Brother As Manager

Nigerian music artiste, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, also known as Reekado Banks, has opened up on why he fired his elder brother, Temi Solomon as Manager.

The singer in a chat on Cool FM disclosed that he wants to take his career to another level and needed someone who shares similar view.

He further added that this decision does not affect his relationship with his brother.

He said, “It was just next level dealings, I wanted to get somewhere else, the vision became a lot farther, like I saw farther than I used to see and I just needed somebody that’ll see as much, most especially someone that’s been there with other people (artists) but me and my brother are cool.”

When asked if Temi, who has managed him since the beginning of his career, is still a part of his team in any capacity, he answered in the negative, saying that he wasn’t at the moment.

The former Mavin Records act is now been managed by Twenty20 media led by Davido’s former manager, Kamal Ajiboye.

Reekado confirmed his departure from Mavin Records in December 7, 2018 after spending five years with the record label. Days after confirming his departure from Mavin Records, he announced the launch of his own record label, “Banks Music”.
