Ric Hassani to Explore New Stories in Upcoming Album

Ric Hassani might be giving us something more than just love songs in his coming album.

Not that we don’t love the way he sings about love,the alternative music artiste has disclosed that he will be exploring a more human interest angle in his next body of work.

According to Punch, he said, “I am going to be telling a lot of stories. My first album had a lot of love songs but soon, I will be telling general human angle stories. These days, Nigerians listen to almost every kind of music, but some people don’t want to believe that. Just make your music and find your crowd. But some artistes keep going after crowds that are already taken. I love making music and that is what drives me.”

The singer who recently wrapped up a 5000-capacity sold out show in Mauritius added that he has been driven to quit the music career many time. “Of course, (I’ve felt like giving up) many times! If you really care about something, you are going to feel that way for some time,” he said.
