Rita Dominic Goes Blonde for 45th Birthday
Rita Dominic, Nollywood actress and producer has taken to social media to celebrate her 45th birthday in a beautiful way.
The movie star swapped her regular black puffy hair style for a blonde wig as she rocked a coordinating pink suit. We love the dramatic plunge and twist of Dominic‘s new look coupled her pose and minimal make up.
In another pose, she shared a video of some gold-coloured balloons with “Happy Birthday Rita D” written on one with a caption, thanking God for her life and 22 years in the industry.
She also thanked her fans for their support in her 22 years as an actress.
“Thanking the Almighty for another year, for life and good health. I’ve been in the industry for 22 years and you all have been steadfast with your support. This I do not take for granted. The actress started her acting career in 1998 and has, over the course of her acting career, starred in over 100 Nollywood productions, winning the City People Awards as the ‘Most Outstanding Actress’ as far back as 2004.
The movie star had started performing as a child, appearing in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo state.
Rita Dominic has, however, remained private about her relationship life; although she admitted in 2018 that she almost got married at some point in her life.
“I will marry the man of my dreams and not the man society dreams for me. Society feels that there is something wrong with you if you’re a certain age and you’re not married,” she said.
“What if it’s the society that something is wrong with for thinking that way, for forcing someone to do what they don’t want to do or forcing them to do what they want but in their (society’s) own time?”
