Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has intensified her public confrontation with Judy Austin, the second wife of Yul Edochie, following Austin’s recent N1 billion defamation lawsuit against her.
In strongly worded Instagram post, Rita declared that “evil has an expiry date” and insisted she would not rest until she reaches “the root of it.”
She accused Austin of having been sued for bigamy yet repeatedly failing to appear in court out of fear.
“The last time I checked you were sued for bigamy, you have not appeared in court for one day just because you have been afraid to come out. Now you decided to bring your filthy legs out. Please let’s see in court on the 29th.”

In a follow-up post directed at Austin, Rita accused the actress of being with another woman’s husband, warned of full karmic repercussions, and described her supporters as products of polygamy and broken marriages.
The exchange forms the latest chapter in the long-running Edochie family feud that began when Yul publicly introduced Judy as his second wife in 2022 while still married to May Edochie.
Austin had filed the N1 billion suit at the FCT High Court in Abuja seeking damages, a public apology, retraction, and an injunction against further statements by the veteran actress.
