Robbie Williams Goes into Isolation after Contracting COVID-19

Popular British singer, Robbie Williams has gone into isolation in the Caribbean after testing positive for COVID-19 while on holiday with his family.

The music star, 46, reportedly jetted out to the Caribbean at the end of last year with his wife Ayda Field, 41, and their children –Teddy, seven, Coco, 23 months, and sons Charlton, five, and Beau, six months, when he contracted the virus.

Following Williams’ COVID-19 status, his family are said to have had to extend their stay to self-isolate.

“He’s confined to the villa where he is staying with his family. It’s not exactly the worst place in the world to be quarantined, although he cannot go to the beach. He will have to remain in quarantine for up to 14 days,” a source who said Williams has been fairly sick was quoted as saying.

Recall that last year, Williams stated that he was living up a mountain to avoid getting COVID-19.

“I’m somewhere in Switzerland up a mountain. I’m a bit neurotic and I thought, ‘Where can I place myself where it won’t get me?’

“That’s social distancing in the extreme isn’t it?” he told BBC during an interview.
