Although the production company did not reveal the identity of the patient, Vanity Fair reported that Tenet, 34, had indeed tested positive to the deadly virus.

The film which is set to be released in October 21 had just resumed shooting after being disrupted in March due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pattinson’s acting career

Pattinson began his film career by playing Cedric Diggory in the fantasy film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). He went on to star as Edward Cullen in the film adaptations of the Twilight novels, consisting of five films between 2008 and 2012, which earned a combined total of over $3.3 billion worldwide. The movie brought him worldwide fame and placed him among the world’s highest-paid actors.

This development further stretches the number of celebrities that have tested positive to COVID-19.

Dwayne Johnson, the actor and former wrestler known as The Rock, had announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he and his family had recently tested positive for the coronavirus.
