Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has revealed a shocking case of internal theft, accusing her staff member, Chike Emmanuel Osuagu, of stealing ₦3 million from her bank account just weeks after being hired.
Chike, a 20-year-old videographer and sales manager, was employed by Martins to assist with her brand and charity efforts, but instead allegedly betrayed her trust.
According to the actress, the first unauthorized transfer of ₦2 million occurred on December 22, followed by an additional ₦1 million shortly after. Suspicious of her missing funds, Martins confronted Chike, who ultimately confessed in a recorded video. She backed up her claims with screenshots of the transactions, which showed the money being sent to an accomplice’s account. Chike had also deleted debit alerts from her device and even sent threatening messages to mislead her.

Martins took to social media to publicly apologize to Zenith Bank, initially blaming them for negligence, but later praised the bank for its swift intervention. She expressed deep disappointment in the betrayal and vowed to be more cautious in the future when hiring staff.

Despite the setback, she remains committed to her charity work and thanked fans for their support during the ordeal.
