Nigerian singer Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike, has shared his mother’s relationship advice on the qualities to look for in a romantic partner.
Chike emphasised the importance of dating individuals who bring tangible value to a relationship, rather than relying solely on emotional connection.
In a recent interview, Chike revealed that his mother played a significant role in shaping his perspective on partnership and career-mindedness.
According to Chike, his mother explicitly warned him against settling for a woman who lacks a clear sense of purpose or a professional pursuit.

“Everyone should look for partners who add value. My Mom has told me not to settle with a woman who doesn’t have ‘what she’s doing’,” he said.
