Shatta Wale Announces Dissociation with Ghanaian Music Awards
In the wake of VGMA banning Ghanaian musicians, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy; Shatta Wale has announced that he will no longer be associated with Ghanaian music awards.
Recall that during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Stonebwoy pulled out a gun on stage while in a confrontation with Shatta Wale and his crew.
The 34-year-old singer announced this decision on his Instagram earlier today:
He wrote: “Upon sober reflections of events in recent times and having made broader consultations, I wish to announce that I will not be part of the Ghana Music Awards scheme going forward. God bless!”
