American DJ and Producer, Diplo Hints New Music Project with Simi
It seems Grammy Award-winning DJ, record producer and songwriter, Diplo is working with our own Simi!
Diplo whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz is the co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer gave us this vibe when he posted a photo of Simi recording in a studio alongside the caption “Legend @symplysimi”.
Although there has been no further indication of an upcoming project between both acts, we are aware that Diplo is no stranger to working with African artists as he has worked with Burna Boy, Mr Eazi and Kizz Daniel in the past. A project including him and Simi will definitely not be strange and it will be very welcome.
Diplo’s post comes days after Simi announced her upcoming album “Omo Charlie Champagne.”
