Sir Leo To The Rescue! Former #BBNaija Housemate Defends Khafi Amidst Sack Threat

From in-house fights to fan-clashes outside the house, different scenes of drama keep unfolding as each day passes in the Big Brother house.

Few days ago, Khafi’s management released a press statement, addressing the issue of threat by the UK police to dismiss the housemate from her job over “sex scandal” in the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.

Nigerians however, seem to have forgotten about the UK publication as they move on to peddle about Khafi’s salary.

A twitter user identified as @IgweOfficial took to the mini-blogging platform to criticize Khafi’s decision to go into the Big Brother house as she earns about N13 million yearly.

He wrote: “Khafi earns about 13 million naira per annum working with the UK Police. If I earn that much I won’t go for big brother I know I won’t win sha. I can’t keep up with the Instagram lifestyle to stay relevant”.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo, took Khafi’s side when he came out to shed light on her decision.

According to him, Khafi’s choice is beyond just “staying relevant”. He stressed that N13 million is not enough to keep her for a year.

He had this to say: “Big brother is a platform.Only looking at it as a cash prize thing, you’re not seeing the bigger picture. She can do a lot of things that will earn her the cash prize over time and continue earning her the cash prize.13m a year with taxes and cost of living isn’t enough.”
