Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, a Nigerian recording artiste who is better known as Skales, has opened up about why most artists miss their blessings.

He made this statement via his X handle on Monday, stating that determination is key.

He claimed that many artists lack patience and often quit just before their blessings arrive.

He encouraged artists to remain persistent.

“Your music will take you places all over the globe. You just need to be consistent enough to see it happen.

“Most artists quit before the blessings show up. Keep going,” he wrote.

Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. In 2000, he started writing rap songs in Kaduna. Between 2007 and 2008, he travelled to Jos to work with Jesse Jagz and Jeremiah Gyang.

In other news, the Nigerian singer-songwriter has urged fellow artists to stop disrespecting their colleagues.

On his X handle, he wrote: “Stop disrespecting your fellow artiste especially when you know as e dey go.

“You fit dey untop today no mean say the same people wey dey ginger you no go forget you tomorrow.”
