Social commentator, writer, and relationship coach Solomon Buchi has sparked widespread reactions after calling out what he described as bitter and jealous comments from some Nigerian women directed at Nollywood actor Jide Kene Achufusi and his new wife, Ifeoma, following their white wedding in Milan, Italy.
In a viral video statement, Buchi did not mince words as he addressed the barrage of negative remarks about the couple’s pre-wedding and wedding photos.

He stated: “Nigerian women are some of the most miserable women in the world. There is nothing that annoys and irritates a Nigerian woman more than you marrying a woman that is way out of her league. It pains them to their bones.”

Buchi further shared the backlash he, gospel singers Moses Bliss, Theophilus Sunday, among others faced after marrying their partners who are either half Nigerian or from another country.
“The only thing they have is their body and their face and they think because they have a pretty body and face, men should worship them. They are always pained once you marry a woman better than them,” he said.
The comments come after Jide Kene and his longtime partner, Ifeoma, tied the knot in an intimate, elegant white wedding ceremony at a cathedral in Milan over the weekend.
The couple shared stunning photos and videos from the event, which quickly circulated online, attracting both heartfelt congratulations and harsh criticism, particularly from some women who mocked the bride’s appearance and questioned the “league” match.
