Someone Has to Be Held Accountable – Ruger Fumes Over Sudden Death of Afrobeats Singer, Destiny Boy

Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has called for a thorough investigation into the sudden death of fellow artiste Afeez Adeshina, known as Destiny Boy.

As earlier reported by eelive.ng, the 22-year-old singer passed away on Sunday after reportedly falling seriously ill. Videos circulating online showed the young artiste lying unresponsive in the backseat of a car while he was being transported, allegedly to a mortuary.

The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed, sparking shock and grief among fans and colleagues across social media.

Reacting to the news, Ruger expressed frustration over the lack of clarity surrounding Destiny Boy’s passing.

He questioned the circumstances leading to the singer’s death and called for accountability, stressing the need for proper investigation rather than silence and assumptions.

“People just post that someone has died and everyone moves on. What actually caused his death? Who was he with? What did he eat or drink? No autopsy, nothing. Are we just supposed to accept it like that? Someone has to be held accountable. Rest in peace, Destiny Boy,” Ruger wrote.
