A Nigerian man has left social media users in stitches after revealing how an expensive wig he bought for his girlfriend — now his wife — ended up saving him years later.
The story surfaced on X when a user with the name @kingberryykarter, responded to a viral post joking about men casually agreeing to sky-high wig prices like ₦800,000 as if they were reasonable.

In his thread, he shared his personal experience: “I bought a wig of 750k for my girl (now my wife) some years ago… To me it was worth it, e no really even concern me sef, I sha just wanted to give my girl what she deserve, also my whatsapp vendors dey use me shine that year.”
He then dropped a teaser that got everyone speculating: “Anyways guess who gave me about 1m extra when we were coming abroad, and guess how she got the money…lol.”
