The 18-year-old who garners 49,736,031 monthly listeners on the platform, beat out Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande who came second and third respectively.

Dua Lipa, Halsey, and Lady Gaga, who earned the list’s 4th, 5th, and 6th spots, also released monumental records this year.

On Thursday, Eilish announced that she has called off her Where Do We Go World Tour indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She had postponed her tour earlier this year saying to her fans: “We’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but none are possible.”

The singer released her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in March 2019. This made her a household name after the success of her single Bad Guy.

She also earned the most awards at the 2020 Grammys with a total of five gramophone statuettes. Eilish who writes her songs with brother Finneas Baird O’Connell, received four 2021 Grammy nominations last month for her 2019 single Everything I am and her Bond ballad No Time To Die.
