Spotify unveils new feature to listen to music with friends

Spotify has introduced a new feature called “Jam” that enables listeners to enjoy music together.

Spotify developed the personalized feature to allow any group to engage in real-time listening sessions.

Jam leverages some of Spotify’s popular social features like Blend and Collaborative Playlists, combining them with its personalization technology to facilitate collective listening.

With Jam, groups can participate in shared queue control, receive tailored recommendations, and track who has added which songs.

Starting from September 27, 2023, Jam will be available to all Spotify users, both Premium and Free, on a global scale.

This feature aims to enhance the communal experience of music streaming for friends and groups, making it more interactive and enjoyable.
