Steve Harvey Approves Michael B. Jordan and Daughter’s Love
American comedian and TV host, Steve Harvey, has said that he approves of Black Panther star, Michael B. Jordan‘s relationship with his step-daughter, Lori Harvey.
The 64-year-old appeared as a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Monday where he opened up about his thoughts on the actor.
Harvey praised the lovebirds, saying that he tried so hard to find something wrong with Jordan but found nothing.
He also said that he is a good guy and would like to see him stick around unlike most of his daughter’s exes he tried to get rid of.
“This guy is such a good guy, man. He is one of the nicest guys, man. I’ve met his father. I’ve set up with him, we’ve talked for hours,” Steve Harvey said.
”I just can’t find nothin’ wrong with him. Between me and you, I’m hoping this lasts ’cause this is a really, really good guy, man. I can’t whoop him. Most guys, I say I can jump on ’em and take ’em out, but he just looks like a real a**-whooping’ in the making. So I’m just hoping they make it.
“You know, I have tried not to like him, I have tried to find something wrong with him that I could dig in and go. ‘Cause I done got rid of all of them. All of them. Some of them that snuck in the back door on me and lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to.”

Michael Jordan and Lori sparked dating rumours in late 2020 and made their relationship official on Instagram with loved-up pictures of each other. The Black Panther star surprised Lori during this year’s Valentine’s Day by renting out an entire aquarium to treat her to a romantic evening “under the sea” and then filled their suite with hundreds of flower arrangements from corner-to-corner.
Lori has been linked with high-profile romances; starting with an engagement to Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay, 26. This was followed by a love triangle with Future, 25, Justin Combs, 25, and Trey Songz, 34. After that drama set Twitter on fire, she took it to the next level by sparking an alleged romance with Justin’s father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, 51.
