Popular Nigerian content creator and livestream personality, Elizabeth Amadou Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has spoken out after repeatedly being compared to late comic actor Mr. Ibu on social media, describing the remarks as body-shaming.
Reacting in a video that has since gone viral online, Jarvis questioned why many social media users had started calling her “Mr. Ibu” because of changes in her appearance.

She said: “Who is Mr. Ibu? What is wrong with you? Why are you calling me Mr. Ibu? I saw that thing in the comment section today. ‘Jarvis don turn to Mr. Ibu?’ I am not that big as you think.”
She added: “See, I’m okay. I’m not that big. I’m okay. Please, make una no dey call me Mr. Ibu again. You people are body-shaming me.”
She expressed frustration over the comparisons, suggesting that people had become overly focused on her looks rather than her content.
In an attempt to address the claims, the influencer moved away from the camera to give viewers a full view of her body, insisting that she had not added as much weight as many people were making it seem.

However, Jarvis maintained that the comments were unfair and hurtful, using the moment to highlight the impact of body shaming and the pressure public figures often face over their physical appearance.
