Stranger Things producer says Season 4 is coming very soon

It’s been over two years since the last season of Stranger Things hit Netflix.

Long breaks between seasons is something the show’s fans have gotten used to. However, this has been the longest stretch yet.

According to Stranger Things producer, Shawn Levy, that wait will be over pretty soon. “To state the incredibly obvious, it’s been way, way, way, way too long, and it’s coming”, Levy said.

Production for the fourth season of Stranger Things had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Levy added that he has spent the last couple of months making up for that extended delay.

“I shot in Lithuania right before the pandemic. We have filmed in Georgia, Lithuania and New Mexico, so suffice to say Season 4 is sprawling,” he said.

“The delay is due in large measure to COVID and the pace at which we have to work to do so safely, but it also happens to be the season that we chose to go much bigger. It’s the scale of this season and the multi-settings of Season 4,” He also added.

The third season saw the much beloved characters going up against the Mind Flayer at the Starcourt Mall. The Season closed with the presumed death of David Harbour’s Jim Hopper, the Byers family finally leaving Hawkins and the Russian facility destroyed.

There’s been no trailer released yet for the new season, but back in May, Stranger Things fans got a glimpse of what’s to come. A teaser trailer featuring everyone’s favorite, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was released.

The Stranger Things cast include Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery.

No official release date for Season 4 has been announced by Netflix just yet. However, we can’t wait to see what’s to come with in this new season.
