Released in 2011, Superstar would be regarded as one of the most influential music albums in the 21st century. This is due to the popularity of the music project at the time and how it was able to not only inspire an entire generation of listeners to pursue a music career, it also redefined Afrobeats as a musical genre and propelled its cultural values.
