Foremost Nigerian billionaire heiress Temi Otedola has mentioned that she is a beneficiary of nepotism and privilege due to her family background.

Speaking on an episode of The How Far Podcast, which she co-hosts with her husband, Mr Eazi, Temi addressed the ongoing debate around privilege and family influence.

She explained that while privilege and nepotism are often used interchangeably, they are not the same. According to her, privilege gives a person access to better opportunities and resources, while nepotism involves gaining advantages through family connections and influence.

The daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola said she has no intention of denying the reality of her background, stressing that honesty is better than pretending those advantages do not exist.

“You can never catch me on or off camera saying I’m not a nepo baby,” she said.

Temi added that she finds it surprising when people refuse to acknowledge the role their family connections have played in their success.
