The 2019 Mo Issa Writing Workshops

Writers Project of Ghana has announced the opening of applications for the 2019 edition of the Mo Issa Writing Workshops.

The Workshop will run through June, July and August, on selected weekends. Facilitators will include accomplished writers, who will teach and discuss writing with budding writers.

The deadline for submission of applications is Friday 7th June, 2019. The Workshop starts on the 15th of June, 2019. Notifications of acceptance will be sent to successful writers on the 11th of June, 2019. Meeting will be on Saturday afternoons.

Like all other writing Workshops, this one seeks to help writers understand and improve their in distinct ways. Focus will be on all variants of fiction: short stories and novels.

You may apply by sending an e-mail with the subject ‘Mo Issa Writing Workshops,’ to info@writersprojectghana.com. In the e-mail add (50-100 words) of introduction about yourself and your work. Add a sample of your writing of about 2,000 words, in Word or PDF document.

Selected applicants will however be expected to have available manuscript of at least 10,000 words for the workshop. Only fifteen spaces are available, however, a fee of GhC 100.00 applies.
