“This is Ghana” Documentary Reveals the Beauties of the Gold Coast

Ghanaian-British Director and Photographer, Danny Wonders, has released the trailer to “This is Ghana”. The documentary is his latest indigenous effort about his home country. The documentary is also a tourist and investment initiative designed to attract the African Diaspora.

Earlier this year, Danny visited his home country for the first time in his life and was inspired by a variety of cultural elements and tourism within Ghana. His experience moved him to inspire other Ghanaians in diaspora to return home.

“This is Ghana” showcases the beautiful aspects of Ghanaian culture and tourism in their many different forms. The documentary was made to “deliver a message to peers in the western world, to come back to Africa and be around their people because there is a lot to learn and a lot to grow from”. 2019 marks the 400th anniversary of the beginning of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade in Jamestown, Virginia.

Danny Wonders is the founder of WonderVision Films and has worked with an array of international acts like; Davido, Stefflon Don and Burna Boy, French Montana, Migos, amongst others.
