Ed Sheeran, the Grammy-winning British singer, says he plans to take a break from music to spend more time with his family.
Sheeran spoke on Saturday at the opening night of his ‘LOOP’ tour in Glendale, Arizona.
He added that he is seriously considering taking a break from music after the tour ends to spend more time with his family.

“This is gonna be my last time here in a while. I might take some time off once this tour has ended and sort of do the dad thing,” Ed Sheeran said.

“So, if I don’t see you for a while, I love you. Thank you for coming.”
Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, met as kids, reconnected in 2015, and got married in 2019. They have two daughters, Lyra, who is 5, and Jupiter, who is 4.
This isn’t the first time Sheeran has taken a break from music. He also paused his career in 2015 and again from 2019 to 2021 after finishing his ‘Divide’ tour.
Sheeran started writing songs when he was about eleven and released his EP ‘No. 5 Collaborations Project’ on his own in 2011. He has since won several Grammy Awards.
