Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has made a bold declaration to take action against social media users who post negative comments about him online.
This development comes after his release from detention in Ilorin, Kwara State, where he was held following a petition by Fuji star Saheed Osupa.
According to reports, Portable was granted N1 million bail, and subsequently, Osupa dropped the charges against him, leading to his release.

However, the experience seems to have had a profound impact on the singer, who now claims he will retaliate against online trolls by writing petitions to get them arrested for defamation on social media.
In a video shared on his Instagram stories, Portable warned netizens to only post positive comments about him online, threatening to take action against anyone who fails to comply.
In his exact words: “To those people wey dey defame me, those people spoiling my name or writing comments on my page. I will arrest you with the police. They have done wickedness to me so I’m doing it for anybody too. If you just talk about me negatively online, whether Telegram, TikTok or anywhere, I will arrest you, I swear to God.”
“Talk good about me now, if you want to talk about me, say only positive things, if you say anything bad about me, I will write petitions and arrest you, no matter where you are, you will be arrested I swear to God. I am a child of the government.”
Portable’s bold declaration did not go down well with netizens as majority are lashing him and insisting if every other people act like he just declared, he would have been detained a whole lot of times.
