Toke Makinwa is the official host of the 2021 edition of the Gulder Ultimate Search
“The council of elders called, the age of craftsmanship is finally upon us”, Toke Makinwa wrote on her Instagram page.
The radio personality had just been announced as the official host of the 2021 edition of the survival reality tv show, Gulder Ultimate Search.
Toke took to Instagram to celebrate the announcement. She wrote,
“Gulder Ultimate Search is back and guess who your host of the season is???? You guessed correct. The TM season is fully on. The council of elders called, the age of Craftsmanship is finally upon us, see you at the jungle.”

The new season of the reality show tagged “Gulder Ultimate Search: The Age Of Craftsmanship” will begin on Saturday, October 16. This would be the first season of the show since 2014, ending a seven year hiatus.

This year’s edition pits 18 contestants in the jungle, as they compete against one another and nature to find a secret treasure. The last person standing wins the title of Ultimate man/woman on December 19, 2021 and would win a total prize package worth over N50 million, including N20 million in cash and a brand new SUV.
It’s back to back host roles for Toke Makinwa as she comes fresh off hosting Showmax’s The Buzz. The Buzz was a Showmax exclusive that discussed all the happenings of the just concluded Big Brother Naija Season 6.
The Gulder Ultimate Search will air on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151), Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153) and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2) on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 pm till 9 pm, from October 16.
