Fans of Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele have taken to social media to drag their fave’s colleague Toyin Abraham over the ongoing rift between Akindele and popular filmmaker Kunle Afolayan over his remarks about cinema and marketing tactics used.
Swiftly responding to the shade, Akindele shared on her instagram story an indirect feedback saying the sky is big enough for everyone to fly while challenging him to create another path to be used to promote movies asides from the dancing and skit making he watered down.
This started after the filmmaker came out to state that Abraham had reached out, to inform him that she has used the ongoing controversy to shoot a skit.
Akindele’s fans however fummed at her colleague Toyin Abraham whose movie “Oversabi Aunty” is also doing well at the cinemas, dragging her for refusing to call out Afolayan for watering down the ladies’ efforts to build a path for themselves but instead chose to milk the situation.
Akindele’s fans called her a hypocrite for staying silent and not supporting Akindele who is currently at loggerheads with Afolayan over his statement. However, some praised Abraham for choosing peace over drama and fights.
