Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has arrived in Toronto alongside her co-star Kidbaby for a special international screening of her record-breaking film Oversabi Aunty.
The movie, which was released in December 2025, has continued to enjoy remarkable commercial success, reportedly grossing more than ₦863 million at the box office and establishing itself as one of the most talked-about Nollywood releases in recent months.
The visit to Canada marks a significant milestone for both stars, particularly for Kidbaby, who is making her first trip to the country.
Toyin Abraham has often spoken publicly about their close relationship, describing herself as a mentor and godmother to the younger actress, a bond that has drawn admiration from fans within and outside the industry.
The exclusive screening is scheduled to take place on 20 February at the National Event Venue in North York, Toronto.
Organisers have revealed that the evening will feature not only the film screening but also an after-party, with several ticket categories available, including VIP options starting from 30 dollars.
The event is expected to attract members of the Nigerian diaspora as well as international film enthusiasts eager to experience the popular production.

The Toronto appearance comes as Oversabi Aunty expands its theatrical run beyond Nigeria, with planned releases across cinemas in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada from 13 February.
