Tyler Perry Builds New Mega Estate

American actor and producer Tyler Perry, renowned for Acrimony, his 2018 psychological thriller, has gone exceptionally grand with his massive 35,000-square-foot estate in Atlanta.

The new property which is still under construction includes an airplane hanga, a runway for his private jet and  an organic farm with animals.

This comes after he hit billionaire status according to Forbes with an estimated net worth of $1 billion, Perry joined the six-figure net worth ranks of Oprah Winfrey, George Lucas, John de Mol, and Steven Spielberg.

The 50-year-old who came from a poor background revealed to Forbes that he has made it a point in his career to own everything he makes.

“I love when people say you come from ‘humble beginnings. It means you were as poor as hell. It also makes success sweeter,” he said.

“Ownership changes everything. You got to understand, I had no mentors. My father doesn’t know anything about business. My uncles and mother, they know nothing about this.

“I didn’t go to business school. Everything I’ve learned, I’ve learned in progress… The ignorance I had about Hollywood was so wonderful, looking back on it.”
