The Snaresbrook Crown Court in the United Kingdom has confirmed that Nigerian dancer and hypeman Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, is scheduled to appear before the court on September 15, 2026, over an alleged assault case.
The court confirmed the development in correspondence on Tuesday, stating that the matter is listed for plea and trial preparation on the scheduled date.
According to the court’s Admin Team Lead, James Baker, the case is officially listed for the September hearing, although the exact courtroom and precise time will only be made available shortly before proceedings.
The development follows reports that Poco Lee is currently being held on remand in the UK. Benjamin Kuti, founder of the Community of Nigerians in the United Kingdom, had earlier disclosed that the dancer was expected to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court for a plea hearing.

Kuti also said he planned to attend the proceedings to support the entertainer and urged the public to allow the legal process to run its course.
Earlier reports had circulated online alleging that Poco Lee was arrested in the UK over a sexual offence. However, publicly available court information has not established that the case specifically involves rape, and reports have generally described it as an alleged assault.
Poco Lee remains presumed innocent unless and until a court determines otherwise.
