Ultimate Love 2020 couple, Jay and Nkechi (Jaykech) have been evicted from the ongoing reality TV show after spending five weeks in the house.
Jaykech’s surprise eviction comes after the couple polled lowest on the number of votes among the Couples who were put up for possible check out/eviction.
The Ebonyi State born Jonathan “Jay” Benson and his Ultimate Love partner, Nkechi Maureen Agba became the 4th Love Couple to be checked out after Micherry (Michael and Cherry), Jeriton (Jerry and Meriton) and Jelo (Jenny Koko and Louis).
On the live stage, Jaykech revealed to the host, Oluwaseun and Dakore that they found love in each other. Jay stated that he’s still in disbelief that a woman so beautiful can actually choose to love him.
During the usual Portmanteau live game. Jaykech, the evicted ultimate love couple, chose the box they were checked out with. It contained a whopping N500,000. But if they had chosen one of the other two boxes, they wouldn’t have missed out on the N750,000 in it. Although, they’re still one of the luckiest couple among Micherry who picked N350,000, Jeriton with N600,000 and disappointed Jelo who picked N100,000.
Nominated Couples For This Week
Meanwhile, five couples were nominated for possible check-out during the live nomination show on Sunday.
The couples as announced by the show’s hosts, Dakore Egbuson-Akande and Oluwaseun Olaniyan, are DoubleChris (Chris and Chris Ville), Iykeresa (Iyke and Theresa), Obiebi (Obichukwu and Ebiteinye), PreshDavid (Presh Talker) and Roksie (Rosie and Kachi).
However, in a new twist, Big Aunty, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, announced to the Love Guests that none of the nominated couples will be performing the Monday real-world mission task, nor will she save any of them.
Further, she disclosed that, she will no longer visit the Love Pad and that the weekly Masterclasses have been concluded, as the last two weeks of the show have been designed for the couples to further strengthen their relationships.
She, added that she will continue to communicate with the Love Guests through the domiciled Love Pad tablet.
