
Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Faithia Williams, has officially declared her return to professional activities following the recent burial of her beloved mother, Mrs. Gloria Uzoamaka Williams.
“I am officially returning to work as we begin the journey of promoting my debut cinema project as a producer, EFUNROYE – The Unicorn,” she stated. “This film is very special to me, and I am excited to start sharing this powerful story with the world.”

In an emotional Instagram post the actress also expressed deep gratitude to her fans, friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers for their overwhelming support during one of the most challenging periods of her life. Her mother passed away in early February 2026, just before her 55th birthday, leading to a temporary step back from public and professional engagements.

“The past weeks have been deeply emotional for me and my family following the passing of my beloved mother,” Williams wrote. “She has now been laid to rest, and I want to sincerely thank everyone who stood by us with prayers, calls, messages, and support during this difficult time. Your love and kindness meant so much to us.”
Signing off as Faithia Williams Balogun, the actress emphasized her openness to collaborations, partnerships, and engagements to bring the project to wider audiences.
