Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, has opened up about the people and experiences that shaped his music career, revealing that rapper Falz gave him his first major opportunity without asking for anything in return.
Speaking in a recent interview, Victony credited Falz for believing in his talent at a time when he was still finding his footing in the music industry, describing the gesture as a turning point in his journey.
The singer also reflected on the devastating accident that changed his life, saying music became his source of comfort and strength during his recovery.
According to him, creating music helped him navigate one of the darkest periods of his life.

Victony admitted that there were moments he almost walked away from music, especially after parting ways with his former management team.
Despite the setbacks, he chose to keep pushing and remain committed to his dream.
He said: “Falz gave me my first opportunity in music, he did it for FREE, music was what kept me going during my recovery phase during my accident, there was times I felt like giving up on music after my management left & my family always complain that I’m no more close to them cuz of how busy I am with music but I’m working on that”.
He also revealed that his busy schedule has affected the amount of time he spends with his family, who often complain about his absence. However, the singer said he is intentionally working on striking a better balance between his career and family life.
