Wale Drops New Jazz Infused Single, ’09 Folarin’

Nigerian-American Rapper, Wale has dropped another song off his  forthcoming sixth studio album which is currently in the works. The rapper promised to drop a song every week in the month of June.

This week’s serving is a Jazz-infused rap song titled ’09 Folarin’ a horn-filled tune, reminiscent of his early mixtape days on which he is heard flexing his lyrical prowess and swift flow.

Wale had previously dropped two other songs;  ‘Gemini’ and ‘Daylight’. He dropped his last album ‘Shine’ in 2017, which featured Wizkid, Davido, Olamide and others as he also featured on South African artist Kwesta’s memorable single ‘Spirit’ the same year. In between he’s dropped smaller projects, like the 2018 EP – ‘Free Lunch’.
