WATCH: ‘Namaste Wahala’ Trailer Released
Nollywood actors Joke Silva and Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, have shared the trailer for the much-anticipated movie Namaste Wahala.
Joke Silva shared the trailer in an Instagram post on Sunday. The movie directed by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja stars Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Ini Dima-Okojie, and Ruslaan Mumtaz; as well as Instagram skit-maker Brodashaggi, Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Frodd, among others.

Rapper MI Abaga also makes his debut in Nollywood as an associate producer on Namaste Wahala. The 38-year-old announced his debut in a post on Instagram on February 18, 2020.
He said, “My first foray into filmmaking resulted in me being an associate producer on this amazing film. Can’t wait for you guys to see it!!!!!! Shout out to @hamishadahuja our Executive Producer.”
Namaste Wahala is a love story that cuts across the cultures of two countries – India and Nigeria. After Deedee and Raj meet and fall in love, they have a hard time convincing both their families to support their wishes to wed.
Namaste Wahala, which has gotten quite a lot of buzz, was slated for an April 2020 release, but was one of many films put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic; whih resulted in movie theatres all over the world having to close down.
But come Valentine’s day, Namaste Wahala is making its debut as a Netflix original; and we look forward to reviewing it for you.
