Love has been presented in numerous forms but not quite as it was portrayed in new movie “2 Weeks in Lagos”.

The movie starring prominent actors like Joke Silva, Jide Kosoko, Beverly Naya, Toyin Abraham and Mawuli Gavor, takes us on a turbulent yet captivating ride into the love affair of Ejikeme and Lola. Their paths cross when Ejikeme an investment banker returns home from the United States with Lola’s brother; Charlie to invest in local businesses.

For the two, it was love at first sight but as they journeyed to define this new love, they are left to contend with the political ambitions of Ejikeme’s mother who is planning a marriage between Ejikeme and the only daughter of Otunba Ayodeji, a political juggernaut considering Ejikeme’s father as his running mate for seat of the President.

“2 Weeks in Lagos” is set to screen at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
