Watch Trailer For The Intriguing New Movie, “Ratnik”
The official trailer for the highly-anticipated movie, “Ratnik” is out, and it is breathtaking. It is an action film by Nigerian filmmaker Dimeji Ajibola and his production company, Flipsyde Studios.
The movie stars Osas Ighodaro, Zikky Alloy, Karibi Fubara, Bolanle Ninalowo, Meg Otanwa and Adunni Ade among others. If the trailer is anything to go by then we expect suspense, explosions, peculiar superhero characters and impressive effects, hardly seen in Nollywood movies.
Commenting on the movie, Bolanle Ninalowo said; “From the moment I read the first scene I said to myself – ‘How the hell can anyone achieve this in Nigeria?’ The shots are ridiculous, the locations are out of this world—I mean, this is Hollywood in Nollywood.”
“I’m just really excited about this film and the different steps that were taken in regards to making it an action film for something that ha not really done a lot in Nollywood and it’s really going to be amazing,” Osas Ighodaro commented.

Ratnik is a Russian future infantry combat system. It is designed to improve the connectivity and combat effectiveness of combat personnel in the Russian Armed Forces. Improvements include modernised body armour, a helmet with a special eye monitor, communication systems, and special headphones.
