“We All Have A Role To Play” – Wizkid To Artistes Blasting Nigeria’s Government

Ace Nigerian artiste, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known by his stage name, Wizkid, attended the Tony Elumelu Foundation Forum 2019 at UBA Marketplace, Transcorp Hilton on Saturday July 27, where he disclosed secrets about his life including his financial management and early life as an artiste.

Speaking on his new “biggest deal in Africa” as the brand ambassador for United Bank for Africa, Wizzy revealed that every artiste and Nigerian has a role to play in growing the country.

In his words, ““It’s not enough to play a song insulting the government. We all have a role to play”.

On his early life in the music industry, Wizkid, who is the new brand ambassador for United Bank for Africa (UBA), revealed that his first “big pay” was #250,000.

In a chat titled “Afro Pop meets High Finance”, the singer revealed that he is investing and ensuring that the platform he is creating will last a long time.

Wizkid who is worth $12 million according to Hopper’s Instagram Rich List, also disclosed to the audience that his “Biggest African deal” is set to solve some of the problems encountered in the entertainment industry.
