The high-profile marriage between popular Nigerian hype man, MC Fish (Fisayo Michael Olagunju), and Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, has officially come to a turbulent end.
Speaking candidly about the dissolution of their union, MC Fish revealed that mutual infidelity was the driving force behind the definitive split, which saw him walk away from the marital home in July 2025.
In a series of explosive revelations, the entertainer disclosed that both parties had violated their marital vows.
However, he alleged that Joseph’s infidelities involved a “countless number of people,” hinting at a scale of betrayal so severe that public disclosure of the individuals involved would cause widespread shock. ”
“In my marriage, both parties cheated. I cheated on Anita Joseph and she cheated on me too with countless number of people. If I start to mention names, everybody will pause.
“In the cheating, I had to leave the marriage and I cut off every relationship I had in the marriage. I moved on with my life in a clean slate with a new person not with the ladies I was cheating with. I left the house in July 2025”. He said.
Faced with an untenable domestic situation, MC Fish made the decisive choice to sever all ties associated with the marriage to protect his own well-being.

Rather than continuing a cycle of toxic behavior or settling down with any of the individuals he had been romantically involved with during his indiscretions, he chose a completely fresh start.
According to the entertainer, he has successfully moved on with his life with a new partner, choosing to leave the past entirely behind.
By establishing a clean slate, MC Fish emphasizes that his current relationship is built on new foundations, completely detached from the chaos of his previous marriage.
