‘We Need New Names’ By Noviolet Bulawayo Is Available In Italian

The award-winning debut novel by Noviolet Bulawayo, “We Need New Names” is available in Italian as “C‘è Bisogno Di Nuovi Nomi“.

Noviolet Bulawayo won the Caine Prize for African Writing in 2011 for the short story Hitting Budapest.  She released “We Need New Names” two years later and added “novelist” to her profile.

The novel was on the Man Booker Prize (2013), the Guardian First Book Award (2013), and a Barnes & Noble Discover Award (2013) shortlists. It also won the inaugural Etisalat Prize for Literature (2013), and the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for debut work of fiction.

The Italian translation has been available since 2014. Malanga E. translated the book and it was published by Bompiani under the title C‘è Bisogno Di Nuovi Nomi.
