Toyin Adewale, the mother of popular Nigerian singer, Mayorkun, has taken to social media to debunk reports alleging that fire gutted the singer’s home on Saturday night.
This comes an online blog claimed that the singer’s Lagos residence caught fire after an explosion, with suggestions that he and his family narrowly escaped.
Reacting to the reports, the actress, via her Instagram, criticised the publication, questioning the credibility of the report. She also condemned them for failing to verify the information before publishing.
In her words: “Goldmyne, why would you do this? Don’t you verify your news before posting? This is seriously unfair.
Anyway, I leave whoever supplies you with this bad news to God.
My family and I will never cry, nor sorrow, nor evil shall befall us IJN. Please, Goldmyne, learn to do better. And to my family and friends, I say thank you so much for the calls and messages.
